Scroll down here to see the different BIOS files that Genesis Plus GX uses. So it sounds like you are probably trying to play a USA game but your BIOS is Asian.
To boot a game, select a game and press ‘Run’ to start the game. I believe that the Sega CD BIOS is region specific.
